Made as part of a series exploring the various complexities of the physical-natural world, this film looks at system level interactions. The individual leaves that were put under a microscope in 475861 are here now part of irregular forms that emerge at macroscopic scales, with trees further extending this complexity in form.

        Birds on the other hand, bring a different dimension to this complexity. Their calls ranging from seductive to confrontational, chaotic to harmonious, repetitive to improvisational. Some of them mimicking other birds they’ve only listened to, but have never met.

        Tracing out forms from one domain to the next, Nature seems to be in a pursuit to try and get somewhere the whole while, while taking its own long winding ugly scenic route.
